Dear SCD Pal,

I just laughed when I read this! Boy can we relate to this! What a house...die

off was not fun! Talk about whiney, tantrumy and difficult!

Hang in there. It took time to get sick it will take time to heal. One year

for celiac, two years for crohn's and ulcerative colitis...since most ASD kids

are not diagnosed....we have to guess somewhere in this area. Many still want

to deny that an ASD person even has a damaged intestine....I think they have

much to learn! lol! Our first die off seemed to last forever. It truly was on

and off the first two months. Worse the first 2 weeks of SCDiet. And then we

got a revisit three months into the SCDiet....just like BTVC says. The reason

we stick to it, is because it is working. All of us have never been better,

especially our sickest...our autistic celiac duaghter. But die off and the

transition back to health is not fun for anyone.

I hope that others with more time can help you with the food issues.

God Bless, Antoinette and and family of five all SCD 2/06 (celiac, add,

adhd, autism, and more)
