Guest guest
Sue... I live across the river, in the Vancouver area. Well, 15 miles north of Vancouver. I buy DCCC at Wild Oats in Vancouver. It's made by Sunshine Dairy. I assume all the other Wild Oats would carry it, though I'm not sure. My suggestion for the best almond flour is to order from Lucy's Kitchen Shop. She's up north, in Bellingham, WA. Hers is VERY nice... and if you order 5 lbs, the price is only about $6 a lb. MUCH better than the $15 a lb that the Bob's Red Mill brand is going for at all the stores. I don't buy a lot of whole nuts, but I stock up on walnuts when they go on sale and freeze them. Feel free to e-mail me off-list if you want to: durovchic@... . Patti (unknown) I am new with SCD, helping my daughter with my 4 year old autistic grandson (and we will do the diet along with Milo)Welive in Portland, OR. I am looking for sources to buy foods in bulk, i.e. nuts, nut flours (I am familiary with Bob's Red Mill, cheeses (particularily DCCC), fresh milk, honey. I shop now at New Seasons and I pick & freeze organic berries in season. If any of you Oregonians or Washingtonian have suggestions, please share with me. Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Patti: I've never " met " anyone from Vancouver, Oregon before. Kinda caught my eye. Up here in Canada, DCCC can be purchased at Safeway and most grocery stores (Canada doesn't use hormones in our non-organic dairy too ) Theresa (in Vancouver, Canada) > > I live across the river, in the Vancouver area.
