Guest guest
HI! Some babies do wonderfully in the beginning and others have a harder time adjusting - Just remember consistancy is the KEY to success! Let us know how it goes when she gets her band! Jen and Luli - 3 years old Left tort - Right Plagio - Hanger Band Grad - CA http://www.babiesonline.com/babies/j/jens5th/ Getting the band in 2 weeks My 6 month old daughter, Maggie, was just fitted for her DOC band at CT in Skokie, IL. She has been going to PT once a week for about 2 months now, and while we have seen some improvement, they told us her head measurements put her in the "severe" range, so we opted to go with the banding. The initial appointment went smoothly, they didn't have to cast her for the band since they use 3D imaging. I've been reading other parents' comments and I'm just worried she'll have a hard time adjusting to it for naps and at night with sleeping. She is a twin and thankfully her brother doesn't have to wear the band, but I just want things to go smoothly so that she and I get enough sleep. I am excited to decorate it, I already have a few ideas to make it cute for her to wear. I'm hoping she only has to wear it for a few months and that she's done with it by summertime.
