Guest guest
We have one. It goes from page 61 to page 81 of BTVC. The C & C's had to respond to queries about SCD and put something like what you said up on their website adding that Elaine's diet was a healthy one but not a medical solution. So if you happen to be cured, you too can say it was from food and not medical:-) The two SCD authors of Grain-Free Gourmet were invited to give a presentation at the Canadian C & C and Elaine would have been pleased. One of her strongest requests was to get them to wake up and smell the monosaccharides. Cheapest solution is to go to Kinkos and print out something on a two sided sheet and urge your recipients to go to the websites. Include basics and success stories and web links as well as the link to Amazon.com BTVC customers BTVC comments. There should be about 150 there. > Hi everyone: > > I was at Children's Hospital recently, and walked by the GI clinic > where I saw a brochure for the pediatric crohn's and colitis research > foundation (something like that) that stated " there is no connection > between what you eat and your disease. Guest guest
I'll check that when I get home (computer at home is down so currently using library on lunch break). I was thinking if someone wanted to do the legwork and post it as a .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) document, then we could all just download it, print it off double- sided, double-fold it and distribute it from here to kingdom come. I was just so infuriated to read the part that diet isn't important. Anybody want to slap together a double-sided brochure? (as with most requests that I make, I'll probably end up doing it myself :-). Guest guest
I just meant if someone wanted to make up a brochure, with paraphrased info from BTVC and a few testimonials, then gave a link to a .pdf file, then we could all distribute it, not publishing verbatim from BTVC. Would be nice to have a catchy graphic on the front too. Something simple, informative that would catch people's eye, especially those who are at the end of their rope and are on increasing doses of prednisone or on the verge of surgery, I don't know. Any graphic people out there? Theresa (in Vancouver, Canada) > > > I'll check that when I get home (computer at home is down so > > currently using library on lunch break).
