Guest guest
I am so sorry about your daughter. Does your 6 yr. realize that he has the same thing? I despise this word but will use it anyway - do they " present " the same way? I have 3 and all 3 are different, probably due to DNA. God, its scary. My daughter had an IV in Sept. and the boys kept teasing/scaring each other by saying - " your next " ... I can't believe the twist of different fathers. I guess your like me with the luck of the Irish. I swear I will never ever ever remarry but should I ever I would search out and find a nationality that has the slimmest percentage - LOL - my luck I would still get pregnant even though I had my tubes tied. n, the ATTRACTIVE one, is JULIE, our CRUISE DIRECTOR!!!! Welcome.... Rosemary in NY with 3 children (13, 10.6 and 6.6) with CF. I have a dog named TOBI and have coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT "
Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, wow all 3? they dont present the same way, Noelle never weezed, and sean has always weezed. but there eating habits were the same. they even resebled each other. i used to call them my twins lol. even though they were 14 years apart. and yes sean knows he has the same thing Noelle had. he is scared. you sound like a woman with a good sense of humor, i like that. I think we have to just to survive. especially with multiple children with CF. My daughter used to tell people that i was nuts, and i was proud of it lol. ( thats what i told her ) I am proud of my nuttieness, thats what keeps me going. hope all is well, thanks for the welcome! Guest guest
I think thats its the sense of humor that keeps you going! Albeight a very dark humor at times its still there. At times I think I am losing my memory. Did you daughter bring up a lot of " sputum " ? Its so scary not knowing what lies ahead. People always tell me they will find a cure, don't worry. I really am an optimist but with 3 I feel like what are the odds of all 3 doing well. I compare it to the Titantic. There are lifeboats but how many will make it. Sorry for sounding so gloomy. My luck we would all get a lifeboat and there would be a hole in it!!!!!!!!!!! LOL Rosemary in NY with 3 children (13, 10.6 and 6.6) with CF. Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, yes my daughter brought up alot of sputum, its a good thing actually! get it out of the lungs. my daughter wasnt even on an inhaler till she was 10. was only hospitalized once, ( When she was diagnosed) then not untill she was 12, for a clean out. about 3 and a half years ago, she got cepacia. her health started to decline rapidly. every 3 to 4 months she had to go into the hospital for 2-3 weeks at a time. unfortunately, your kids are gonna give each other infections. it cannot be helped. just hope and pray they dont get cepacia. God bless you Rosemary! you certainly have your hands full.
