Guest guest
No she's not swallowing mucus, her coughs are not productive. Re: Refusing to eat Is she swallowing mucus? That could make her stomach upset. Just a thought. > Ok, Has anyone else dealt with this? only eats a little bit normally but for the last few days she has been refusing to eat! The only thing that she really wanted today was some lime sherbet and some tic tacs. not exactly high cal stuff! She even was agreeable to getting a " big " tube feed right after dinner instead of eating (it's usually a struggle to get her to let me hook her up to the thing for a " regular " feed!) Her activity level is fine and she doesn't seem sick or anything, though she seems to be coughing that weird dry cough again (I'll be calling the CF clinic about it all tomorrow) Maybe more zantac will help if the cough is reflux related.............Our next clinic appointment is in the beginning of Sept., but we might be going in for some food related help before that. > > , > Mom of , 4 & 1/2 with CF, who doesn't want to eat > >
