Guest guest
It is amazing to think I have friends I don't even know yet. I can't believe I even got a response, much less several direct greetings! Thank You for the Welcome!! I am typing this slowly because it is still hard for me to believe this is something I that I need to do - to find support for the future of my life and well-being. I do not have an " official " diagnosis yet, but all signs are pointing to either Relapsing Polychondritis, Wegener's Granulomatosis, or both. I spent 3 hours at my Rheumatologist's office today, talking, giving blood and getting a dexascan. Tomorrow it's back for pulm. function testing. I'm still a little shellshocked, so I'll have to give you details of my medical roller coaster ride another time, but at least I can say that I feel, after 4 1/2 years, that I'm finally knocking on doors of the right duplex (I'm a Realtor, can you tell?). I am going to have to knock a litttle harder to see if one or both will answer. Right now all bets are on the RP, or both. So I have come to find anything and everything I can about your (our) world. I learned from reading so many wonderful posts last night, that this is what I need to do. But right now, my son and daughter-in- law are insisting I come over for dinner and meet their new puppy. Life will go on! I will be in touch from here on out... I am open to questions, as I will have many of my own, too; and am interested in participating in discussions, surveys, anything. I am a " doer " , and this will not stop me from doing what I believe in. I have lead a very busy life until about 3 months ago, and I hope to get back to most, if not all, of it soon! To finish, Happy Birthday from one Jana to another! My maiden name is Jana, and we got a kick out of it when people started to name their daughters Jana. Even though we haven't officially met, I hope it is your best birthday yet! Take care all, I look forward to getting to know you!
