Guest guest
I sit here typing and listening to my favorite praise and worship team " Hillsong " The song is called " This is how we overcome " I had the EXTREME delight this past September to see them in concert and it was the absolute most fun I have ever had in my adult life. If not for having the intrathecal pump placed I would have never made the trip to Fort Wayne to see them. (and devine intervention) I do not intend to offend anyone, but I felt compelled to write this. Please group we cannot let this disease overtake our souls. I know it is so so very hard. Our lives have been changed, but let us not look back in the past but look forward to the new season ahead ( and I don't mean Spring although it does sound positive) we all have seasons of our lives and this is but a season. I really can relate, to everyones pain and suffering, and at times it seems so endless and so purposeless. I emplore everyone to look beyond this,(I completely know what it is like to have something so overwhelming running or appear to be running our lives.) My point we are beings with souls and don't let disease corrupt what is good in us, our humanity is what sets us apart from other mammals. Guest guest
That is so very well said, I may have to quote you on that " humanity is what sets us apart " . Beautifully said. You are also very correct it is a difficult concept to hold on to sometimes. I know that my whole world has completely collapsed and no single stone was left standing as a reminder. But the spirit remains; bruised, battered and weak and searching for the lost soul in the rubble with faith as the guide. Both my heart and my soul are broken, but my faith has never wained. Thanks > My point we are beings with souls and don't let disease corrupt > what is good in us, our humanity is what sets us apart from other > mammals. > > > Atwell LPN
