Hi there Cathy,

Yer used to always get really bad pains in the legs, to the point that he

would cry. It was quite regular. Never was really explained or understood,

however did come to the conclusion that it maybe from not enough salt and

powerade drinks. Anyway we upped all of these and it stopped and everytime he

would get them again, we noticed it was because we were slack with the salt and

powerade drinks. Maybe only a coincidence, but don't know.

Very sad about Hayley. How did handle the news about Hayley's death?

is not coping at all. He had got very close to her, and their friendship

was a God send. He had finally began to open up and talk to someone and it was

fantastic. Well he had someone who understood about treatment and meds and

hospital and IV's etc. 'Well he is also very scared, he won't talk about it and

cries everytime Hayley is mentioned or something happens that makes him think

about her. My heart is just aching for him. He has begun to get very angry again

and won't do his treatments, and when he does it is just a big fight, to get him

to do anything. Talk to you soon.

Luv a

Hiya Kim,

I was just wondering if or anyone else on the list supplements with

magnesium whilst taking Azithromycin. is on Azithromycin and it states

that it can't be taken with antacids containing aluminium or magnesium. Does

that also mean magnesium supplements?

Also has anyone on the list had complaints from their child re aches that are

unexplainable. has been complaining for about a month of her lower

forearm (between the wrist and elbow on the right only) aching to a point where

she cries. It mostly seems to happen at night and only on one arm. I have been

treating it with heat packs and panadol.

She hasn't hurt it as far as we know and I suspect it is not salt depletion as

she does not have any other symptoms like headaches, dark circles, paleness etc.

I was wondering if it might be a side effect of some medication but why only one

arm? Any advice would be helpful.

Cheers

Cath (Mum of 7yowcf)
