Guest guest
Hi Denny, My name is T. (there are a couple other 's) and I have had the same problems you have had. I had the same surgery last August. I only got to 3 weeks postop and starting having the same pain again. I have been through the same things as you as far as telling me it can't be this or can't be that. In my opinion, I would say you do have some extent of CP. You have all the signs and symptoms. Have you had a CAT scan or any other tests besides the ERCP's? You might want to seek out having a CAT scan as this is how I got my definitive diagnosis of CP. The pain you have is very typical of CP. I have had normal levels as well when they were trying to diagnose me. I was told " it can't be CP because your amylase and lipase aren't elevated. " My levels do go up and down now when I have a severe attack, but not always. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact me or anyone else here. I am sure you will get a lot of responses from some of the others who have more experience with this disease than I do. Thoughts and prayers. T.
