Guest guest
, Octreotide (otherwise known as Sandostatin) is sometimes able to prevent attacks of pancreatitis. I tried it, but it didn't work for me. All it did was lower my blood sugar and make me more nauseous. However, Cecelia, the AZ rep, takes it and it works great for her. The only time she had an attack was when they were late in giving her the monthly shot. So, I hope it also works for you too. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
thanks Kimber, I think it is one of those last ditch efforts, it would be nice if it did work. I dont care much for the alternatives. How are you feeling? Better I hope. Maybe I'll hear from Cecelia. > , > Octreotide (otherwise known as Sandostatin) is sometimes able to prevent > attacks of pancreatitis. I tried it, but it didn't work for me. Guest guest
, you are welcome. You should at least try it as I know it can help some people (women mostly for some reason). I'm doing okay right now. No bad pain, but still needing my regular dosage of pain meds to cover what pain I am having. Not much else going on here. Hope you are having some pain free, or relatively pain free days. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
