Guest guest
For those with more experience with nasal polyps ... do they ever shrink on their own? My son has his first nasal polyp. We were surprised when the doctor said it is almost completely blocking his right nasal passage because my son was totally unaware of it. Interesting that Kim mentioned her son using a mask for Pulmozyme with the thought being it may help sinuses. My son prefers a mask to mouthpiece and we have always wondered if the normal saline he gets through the nose twice a day has been part of what has held sinus problems at bay. Any advice regarding this first ever polyp? I doubt very much that I can convince my son to do sinus irrigations although I have heard many recommending them over the years. Guest guest
I would be interested in the growth spurt idea. Christian hasn't really been gaining weight but has been growing taller and his ENT says that he now sees polyps. Do you think there might be a connection? I will mention it when we go to get the results from his CT scan on the 15th.
