Guest guest
Carol G. Thanks for sharing your story. It sounds like so many stories told her. Sounds like you might be allergic to pred. My sister is and had major problems when they put her on it the last time. Funny though my Doctor told me I couldn't be allergic to it. They put it on her chart the last time along with the other stuff that she has become allergic to. I am happy that you have a rheumy that is trying to get to the bottom of all your problems. That seems to be the most important part of the treatment with RP. A Doctor who really wants to make you feel better. It just upsets me that it seems to take them years for a diagnoses of this cRaP. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way that things start turning around for you! Guest guest
Hi Glenda, Thanks for the input on the Pred. I have a friend with Sjogren's who questioned an allergy to it too. She had a reaction to it, and can't take it either. I will bring it up when I talk to my Dr. next, which may be tomorrow if my eyes don't get any better over night. Do you know of anyone else who has had eye involvement? I like surprises, but waking up with a new one every day associated with some kind of pain is not the kind I get happy about - in fact, I think it's cRaP!! You are right about the most important part is finding the right Drs. My PCP called looking for something like this, "thinking outside the box". It's sad to think most Drs have their brain stuck inside a box! I bet all of us were way out of the box before our Drs even found the lid to pry open!! Hope your week starts off with good thoughts and smiles! Carol G Re: Carol G's Story-Carol G. Carol G. Thanks for sharing your story. It sounds like so many stories told her.
