Lee Anne: I take the vita4life vitamins also, however, I could not tolerate them the first couple months. They were too big and too many to handle that soon after surgery. You may need to use children's chewables at first. What to take to work? Perhaps some yogurt, the small cans of tuna or chicken. Perhaps some peanut butter and crackers. Also the lunchables with slices of meat, cheese and crackers work well. Hard boiled eggs are easy to tote to work. Deviled eggs, Cheese sticks, Cottage cheese..... But my biggest advice is not to stock up with to much of anything at first. You may find that things you thought you would like you don't (at least at first) And things you never thought you would like is the very thing you want. So, sort of shop as you go after the first week or so. Hope this helps Jo

Blast away with the questions. This is how we all learn. None of us are Drs. (except for Carolyn) lol so what you will get is our personal experiences. I think that one day we should write a book on all of our personal experiences and then send it out to the drs. Have a great day.
Guest guest
Carol, Thank you for sharing your story. There is so much in it that a lot of us can relate to. Hoping when you get your list of questions ready we can help you out. This list is a wealth of info. Wishing you a good week too. Sandy Thanks again to everyone for the warm welcome. Now brace yourself 'cause I'm putting together a list of questions to throw out and I hope some of you will tell me of any of those answers (or at least your opinion). I'll probably send them tomorrow. I already feel supported by this group, and hope I can offer even a small amount of the help and friendship that you all are showing everyday. Hope the week starts out bright and cheerful for each of you. Carol GDISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY.
