Hey Kara,

Here's the deal... Applegate Farms has healthy food and probably over 50

products...

but only four are SCD legal:

1) 'Stadium beef hot dogs'

2) Roast Beef organic

3) Organic Turkey hot dogs

4) Tukey salami

Very tasty and convienient, they are helpful and will help you find the SCD

legal meats without sugars, etc... The lactic starter is from beets and is ok.

I have read on another forum that Applegate Farms Smoked Turkey is

legal but it has Carageenan in it. They said it was listed on the

Pecanbread site but I can't find anything specific just a link to the

Applegate farms website.

Are some of these meats SCD legal?

(packing for trip tomorrow and could really used a simple meat option).

Thanks,

Kara

I just saw the the Applegate Farms chicken hot dogs at our local health food

store. The cane juice is not listed in the ingredients. Are they OK to eat?

Now that the cane is gone, many will want to use the hot dogs again and

they should be OK. The main problem was that Applegate changed the

ingredients and now changed them back which created a lot of confusion

and disappointment around here.
