Guest guest
Lily, I just read your post regarding your dad. I am sorry to hear this. My mom was just admitted for CHF on wednesday night and I am searching desperately for any info on this. I have also just found out it runs in the family. Is there anywhere you can point me to to help me understand this better. Much thanks and I hope your dad is doing better soon. I would love to ask you some questions about this when you have more time and your dad is doing better. Sandy/California bigsister wrote: >I will be in her neighborhood this weekend. The worse that can happen is that they will say no. Does not hurt to ask. I got a call this am at 6:50, the squad took my dad to the hosiptal again ( sigh ). He has chronic CHF. So I just got back from the hospital a little while ago ( again ) and he is still in the ER waiting for a bed to become available. So I will be in that next of the woods this weekend. I will see what I can find out. Never fear,,, Nurse Ratchett will get the skinny on the scoop ! >Take Care, > Lily > Re: Lily angel flight > > > Lily > I would be great if you could speak with your mom's neighbor. > Wouldn't that be your step-neighbor or something?? > I feel kind of guilty asking for angel flight. Guest guest
I'm so sorry about your dad. How old is he? My mother was a frequent flying on the cardiac unit of my hospital. They got to know me well up there. They say nurses are the worst patients, nope, pts with nurses in the family are the worst!!! She had chf with pe, an ejection fraction of 30%, bilateral corotid occlusion so she didn't always get cerebral perfusion and it showed. Perfound senile dementia, but we had a lot of fun with it. She was in a nursing home the last 7 months of her life and one day they brought her my ems to the er. I was the only contact person and they got to know she and I well in the er. One day this absolutely adorable 3rd year med student was trying to get an history and physical from her. He asked her where she lived and the like she looked him straight into his eyes, saying " I am 52 years old, live in Washington DC and work for the federal government " The young man looked at me in a panic and I said " we're so proud " .... I'll keep your dad in my prayers. Oh only thing that reallys throws me over is mucus, but dog vomit is right up there, well except to other dogs.... Thanks Chrissy
