Guest guest
The cost differences aren't usually a lot. If you go to Durham Regional, the more or less average costs are: $ 225 for clinic $ 950 for anesthesiologist $ 4000 for Dr. R. ($3200 if you are self-pay) $ 8500 for the hospital (and I think they give a 20% discount if you pay up front, so if they do, then it would be about $ 6800.). If you go to , then you have a $7000 hospital bill instead of the $8500 (but if Durham Regional does give the 20% discount, is actually higher than Durham Regional for a shorter stay, though it sounds like it is a lot nicer there). Guest guest
Hellloooo, Roxanne... I just posted this yesterday...here you go....and best wishes on your journey!! I just self-payed my MGB last week. Here are my expenses: Ambulatory Surgical Center $7,000 Anesthesia 858 Dr. Rutledge (including clinic) 3,455 Airfare for two 500 Hotel for 6 nights 450 Car rental for 6 days 200 Food/taxi fare/entertainment/misc 300 That comes to a grand total of $12,763 The hospital charges are different. They want a down payment up front of $11,000. You may have to pay more, or you may get some back. The hotel bill could be lower if you choose a different hotel. I chose one that had a two-bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms b/c of privacy on my part. Had my husband been able to go with me, I would have stayed at the Fairfield for $15 cheaper per night. Plus I had alot of phone charges (they added up to over $35 for LOCAL calls)...there was some major MIS-communication about that when I reserved the room. And of course the Food and misc could be lower... ate alot! LOL Just kidding! Still, by far this surgery is MUCH MUCH lower in cost than any other! Hope this helps! Joyfully, Tricia MGB 8/10 Rox4054@... wrote: > > Hi > > I'm Roxanne Brown ...... I will be self pay as well if I get > excepted.....I > overnighted my packet today.
