Guest guest
Just a thought.... depending on where you purchased this walnut flour, I have heard that some places sell nut flours that are basically just the fibrous left overs after the oils have been pressed out... and will therefore be very dry. I have only ground walnuts at home... in a small food processor. Usually, I have to be very careful not to end up with a gooey mass that is more like walnut butter than flour. If I'm careful, I get a very nice, finely ground meal. Patti Re: Have you found walnut flour to be a bit crumbly? yes I don't think I will purchase walnut flour again..but I had a little ...so maybe mix in a cup here and ther..thanks ..was wondering if I was imaginging it to be walnut issue...it actually worked fine in cookie recipe... mixed with pecan flour..just not bread..;-) Sandy SCD 3+ mths Son 6 ASD Daughter Recovered ASd DAN Biomedical 8+ yrs...;-)
