Just a thought.... depending on where you purchased this walnut flour, I have

heard that some places sell nut flours that are basically just the fibrous left

overs after the oils have been pressed out... and will therefore be very dry.

I have only ground walnuts at home... in a small food processor. Usually, I have

to be very careful not to end up with a gooey mass that is more like walnut

butter than flour. If I'm careful, I get a very nice, finely ground meal.

yes I don't think I will purchase walnut flour again..but I had a

little ...so maybe mix in a cup here and ther..thanks ..was wondering

if I was imaginging it to be walnut issue...it actually worked fine in

cookie recipe... mixed with pecan flour..just not bread..;-)
