Hi,

Pain locations seem to vary per the individual. All of my pain has

always been left sided or mid abdomen pain. It radiates to the

back, hurting at the bra line in the back and underneath my left

shoulderblade. I have pseudocysts that are located on the left of

my lower abdomen (in the tail) and the center just above my

navel (in the head of my pancreas). These location correlate

with the way my pancreas is positoned in my body. Other people

complain of right, mid or left sided pain.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi

My pain has always been center to left and back. Some doctors look at

me like I'm crazy (they'd be the ones who don't know much about it)

and others don't think twice about it. From what I understand, it's

not always the same for everyone.

take care.

From what I've read on these postings it seems that everyone

has pain in different places. Personally, I have only had pain to

the right of my midsection just below my ribs. When I have a

major attack of pain it's always on the right and through to my

back under my right shoulder blade. I read somewhere that the

pain usually appears at the same place the pancreas has a

problem--(head or tail) Hope this helps.

Thats exactly where mine has always been. My cyst were on the head

of the pancreas and the head is gone but I still get the pain in the

same locations, go figure....
