Guest guest
It really depends. Call & ask . The doctor can get them to make exceptions if it will work for the child...here's hoping. They really are a blessing to all . LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV Randy Hi!! I have a question, I know you said that a childs chest must measure 20 or 22 " before they can use the vest, but you also said that sometimes the vest can be modified. My daughters chest measures 18 " is that too small? Katy Mom to Austin 4 no CF & Piper 1 w/CF
Guest guest
We have applied the Vest to a patient with a chest circumference of 17 " . That was the smallest. The best bet would be to talk to your local Vest person and let them help you with the process. If you let me know what part of the country you are in, I can have them contact you by e-mail (with your permission, of course). Randy Hi!! Guest guest
Randy, Has Australia expressed any interest in the vest yet? I really don't care if it isn't any better than manual PT as long as they are on par, but the freeing up of my time would be great. Guest guest
, Australian healthcare teams have actually expressed quite an interest in the Vest. There are several physicians in Australia currently doing trials with the Vest. I really don't know who, where, what, when, etc., but I'll see if I can get a status report.
