Guest guest
There are dairy and egg free recipes on www.pecanbread.com in the " recipes " section. Have you already checked there? You may have to invent your own recipes... or adapt others. I know there is a suggestion for how to replace eggs in recipes using gelatin... in that same recipe section at the site. Patti dairy free egg free and food intolerances! is there anyone out there doing dairy free egg free with significant food intolerances that I can swap recipes with? thanks, For information on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, please read the book _Breaking the Vicious Cycle_ by Elaine Gottschall and read the following websites: http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info and http://www.pecanbread.com
Guest guest
We started my daughter out egg free/dairy free. Not sure what your situation is, we are a family of celiacs, and I say that to say that our food aversions may be different than yours, I don't know. I would love to share recipes, but I don't really have any. We just did meat, veggies, fruits, diluted juices, gelatin (after the intro.) I know some people exchange pureed fruit or squash for the eggs, but it was always too much for me to deal with. I will give you hope that my DD now tolerates eggs, it took 2 months and two intros, but she does great with them and eats 2 a day sometimes. We do eat farm fresh eggs, but never noticed that made any difference until her gut was healed a bit. I also give her Houston's AFP peptizyde with eggs, just to help a little. But we have noticed none of her old intolerance issues, even when we forget the enzymes. Best to you and remember that its a big change, but really kids adapt, especially when there's none of their old favorites in the house to haunt them. I basically cleaned the pantry ou, except what was legal and tolerated. I would recommend a good probiotic after you get the diet well under way, made a world of difference in her BMs. Our next leap is going to be goat yogurt this summer.
