Guest guest
3 interesting articles on Pub Med ( I access via www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ and search on " polychondritis " ) for Jan & Feb 2002 1 on research by Buckner et al in Arthritis Rheum Jan 2002 on how rp is activated 2 on effect of leflunomide Koenig and Abruzzo in J Rheumatology 2002 jan. They are based in jefferson uni in Philadelphia. a contact for those in Philly ? 3 on effect of colchicine and indomethacin in J Am Acad Dermatol 2002 Feb by Marks and s based in NY U school of Medicine. steroid sparing ? Ann had 2 very bad weeks of coughing and breathlessness. Seems to have eased now. Very odd as she did not think she was flaring and indeed her sed rate was normal. She remembered she had had problems with inhalers before . she stopped her current one Flixotide and the coughing stopped. But it could just have been the remnants of a cold. hope this is of interest to others IMPORTANT NOTICE: This email is confidential, may be legally privileged, and is for the intended recipient only. I haven't read it yet but have saved it to read tomorrow. I'm sorry to hear about Ann. Please give her my best and tell her to stay well. We are all thinking of her. How is Alice doing. I think of her too. You take care and be sure to pop in a little more often. We miss you.
