been posting to the longisland listserve. I have a question about

digestive enzyme supplements, but first I suppose I should mention

that I am about to start the SCD (waiting for my yogurt maker to

arrive). I am starting it because I have severe constipation type

ibs. As for my question about digestive enzyme supplements - my

Naturopath wants me to start taking a Digestive Enzyme Supplement

like Pancreatin or something, at the same time as beginning the diet.

However, I can't take anything with Bromelain in it, because it has

been shown that people who have dangerous allergic reactions to bee

stings (which I do) can react the same way to Bromelain (even though

bromelain is made from pineapple stems - weird but true). Anyway, I'm

finding it nearly impossible to find a Digestive Supplement without

Bromelain as one of the ingredients. Anyone else have this problem?

Any suggestions?

Hi Tracey! Actually I was referring to the longisland listserve email

support list for SCD- SCD-list@.... I live in PA. It's a great

list to belong to though, especially for me since I am attempting to begin

the SCD and have lots of questions.
