Guest guest
Dear Bill, I am so happy to read posts like this. It helps our family to trust and to not feel so alone. So many are trying other interventions other than what is outlined in the book. I am so glad to hear that you are having success with just SCDiet. This has been our choice too. Against the DAN's suggestions, but we are doing remarkably well with " just " SCDiet. Sorry, I don't know anything aobut your other concerns but maybe others can help. Thank you so much for sharing! What foods is he eating now? What fruits and veggies? How are they prepared? How much yogurt did you start with and how much now daily? How are stools now and compared with preSCD? When was the last test to measure D-lactate and have the levels changed since SCD? Fruits are fresh OJ diluted and some watermelon, also SCD strawberry and blueberry jelly. Started yogurt with 1/4 tsp mixed with scd jelly. We stopped for the time being, wanting to give some time between the cow's milk yogurt and starting the goat's milk. Stools have been solid mostly since starting SCD, regressing at 2 mos. Solid and great now. D-lactate has been historically high, was just tested in late May. The test we did didn't give a figure, just listed D-lactate as " high. " Thanks, Bill

" I forgot to ask when you stopped the chelation. Was it since you have been on SCD? If so, it may be a reason for the high D-lactate.
