This friend has her masters in early childhood education so I trusted her judgement and took a class last December. Zach started doing a lot of signs in May. He has four sign language board books and a sign language video and he loves them. I love knowing when he is thirsty, hungry, wanting a book, wanting to wash his hands, wanting to ride his bike, etc. It has helped a lot because Zach does have a significant speech delay (9 months). He sees a developmental therapist once a week that was so happy he already knew sign language. Guest guest
Sara, That is really neat that you did that for your baby. My nephew also has a great delay in speech. His is almost a year. He was born with a congenital heart defect and has been another one of our families little miracle babies like mine ( Colgan ). I sure do hope that they make great strides Zach and your therapist.
