Guest guest
Hello all...I am having a heck of a time accessing the yahoo group...I am not sure what is going on. I have tried working with yahoo and they haven't been of to much help.. The problem is intermittent and so I don't know if I am getting all of the post or not...Anyway, I have set up a forum on my website. If anyone needs me for anything please send me the info there until I can figure out what is going on with yahoo. I am not splitting off from the group to do my own thing. It is just something extra that I am doing. I will continue working with the PAI and hope to get this problem fixed. I have set up the forum to be used by people who can't quite figure out the yahoo group or if they are having problems with it. I am not leaving the group by any means, I just think it is important to be able to help all that I can and have noticed that some people join the group and then leave the same day. I am not sure if they are overwhelmed by the amount of emails or not. I know that Karyn has changed the default settings to digest mode for the new people. I am not trying to entice anyone to leave the PAI, or jump ship. As I said, I am not going anywhere, but am just trying to reach out to all that I can. The forum can be found at http://www.voy.com/172574/ You are free to check it out and if not that is cool too..I hope to have this problem resolved with yahoo soon....It is driving me crazy. I am not sure even if this message will get thru. Kaye has been so kind to send messages for me in the past and I am sure she will do the same again. Do not be alarmed, I have been in contact with Karyn about this forum, I am not hamstringing anyone...it is all out in the open...I have some awesome friends here on the group and they have become my extended family and I hope to continue communicating with all of my family. I am not even sure if the forum is a good idea or if it will work out but I thought it was worth a try. I would like to get everyone's input on this forum, good or bad. When I made the Top5plus5 website, it was with the idea to help all that I can and I stated at the beginning that it was OUR website. I still need many ideas to make it better. I have had good ideas and bad ones, but didn't know which ones were good and bad until I tried it. When I started the top5plus5 website, I didn't even know how to make a website.lol..I just am faking it and doing the best that I can to reach out to people all over the globe with our common disease. All is well and hopefully I will get the yahoo thing resolved, and when I do, I will be doing the same thing I have always done, but I will continue to keep the forum for new people who are not computer savvy. I hope this finds you and yours well Mark
Guest guest
Mark the most important thing is that everyone who suffers from this disease has some place to discuss it and share there feelings, experiences and hardships with this disease. We are all out for the benefit of the people who suffer from pancreatitis and do our best to meet those needs. Working together is essential and that we have found in each other. You may want to also list our Pancreatitis Family Message Board if you want to, or do not care to. Thanks. I would list the URL, but I will let you do so if you do not care..
