Guest guest
Hi Joe, my son who is 5 years old is also pale. Always has been, I questioned his docs about it and they said it was just another part of having cf. also cannot handle the heat either, we also live in Florida. We try to let play outside for about 20 minutes a day 3 times a week to help his paleness, He actually is getting some color to him and looking less pale. I am sure there are others on the list who will be able to tell you the reason on it, there are some smart cookies on this board, Okie dokie mommy of 5 years old w/cf/adhd and no cf
Guest guest
Hi friends, Abby is now 25lbs. which is 95th percentile for her age. She is doing very well and we remain optimistic and thankful since she isn't on anything but ADEK and Zantac. Because of her size it is getting difficult to perform CPT on her while she lies in my lap. I still manage alright but Kathy does CPT in the a.m. and although she does a good job of it, it is very tough. We are considering a mechanical percusser. If anyone has any advice on them please let me know. Also, I have always thought that Abby looked a little pale. She rarely is outside for more than a few minutes at a time because of the heat here in FL not to mention that she isn't quite walking yet. However she seems to lack some of the normal color you see in babies. She is always full of energy, sleeps and eats well and is very strong. I just wonder if she is not getting something she needs. As Kim pointed out once, the Vitamax Abby takes is not a complete multi-vitamin so if I gave her one she may overdo some things that the ADEK does have. I read some others here on the list had observed this in their children but I missed out on that discussion. Any comments would be appreciated on either topic. Thanks, Joe
Guest guest
We have been giving Patti (2 wcf) the manatech products for 3 months now. After the first two weeks she lost her paleness and gained a nice rosy color. Dawn mom of 4, 7 and under, the youngest wcf
