Hi Chrissy,

It's good to hear from you.

How do you feel about the prospect of the pancreatectomy? I went into mine

feeling very positive, but scared about the actual surgery itself. You know what

it's like when you're a nurse. I can watch anything being done to someone else,

but i'm a real baby when it comes to having anything done myself! How far is

Cincinati from where you live?

I have never had a peg, but i look after lots of children who have. Many of our

teenagers with cystic fibrosis have pegs, and many of the disabled children too.

Have you got the button or the other type? I've never had a stent either. Do

they have to be removed after a certain length of time?

Work has been really busy, and i must admit i have been really tired. This week

is a weeks annual leave that i already had booked. So, i'm taking some time out

with my husband. He's a nurse (ICU) and works shifts too, so it's nice to have

some time together.

Take care Chrissy, and keep in touch.

All the best.

Sue.
