Guest guest
<< I was wondering if anyone out there has had the MGB and took fen-phen at one time. Did you have any problems? >> Hi, Pam: I took f-p for about six or eight months in 1996, and had my surgery a week ago. No problems. It's advisable (probably required) to have your heart checked if you haven't done so. That's what they were recommending after people turned up with heart valve defects post fen-phen. Dr. R. will have the final word on this, I'm sure. Blair

Guest guest
Dear Pam, I had my MGB on July 19th, this year. I too took Phen-Fen. I had no complications whatsoever. My PCP recommended a sonogram of my heart and a stress test just to make sure I was safe for surgery, and I passed! If you are interested in a possible settlement go to this site: http://www.settlementdietdrugs.com/ I hope this helps!
