Guest guest
There was just so much talk about heart problems when they first took it off the market that I just started wondering if it caused any problems when you have surgery. Guest guest
Hi Tina, That's about what I lost (and gained). Thanks for the info, Pam > I took phen phen in 1997 and lost about 60 pounds, I have no helath problems > from taking it, however of course I gained all the weight back. but no > problems here. > > Tina Ellis

I was on it, but not for long, so my experience is probably irrelevant, but so far as I know, there's no reason it should have anything to do with the MGB at all, unless you got mitral heart valve damage from the fen-phen in which case you better ask your cardiologist and Dr. R. if you are okay to have *any* surgery (including the MGB). Kind regards,
Guest guest
I've done both and had no problems except I'm not losing... --- wrote: > Pam Pelletier wrote: > > > > Hi, > > > > I was wondering if anyone out there has had the > MGB and took fen-phen > > at one time. > > > > Did you have any problems? > > > > Thanks, > > Pam North Carolina > > > I would be willing to bet that probably 80% or more > of the people on > here have been on fen-phen (and nearly every other > quack diet and > body-killing idea anybody ever came up with.) > > I was on it, but not for long, so my experience is > probably irrelevant, > but so far as I know, there's no reason it should > have anything to do > with the MGB at all, unless you got mitral heart > valve damage from the > fen-phen in which case you better ask your > cardiologist and Dr. R. if > you are okay to have *any* surgery (including the > MGB). > > Kind regards, > > > ===== peggy __________________________________________________
