Guest guest Posted February 18, 2002 Report Share Posted February 18, 2002 Hi, I have a couple of herniated disks, along with other lower back problems, and went to swim therapy for 5 years. I quit going because it got too expensive and now I do some floor exercises every single day. The ones I do are what was recommended to me by the PT. I can not do the crunches though because they make my upper back and neck hurt too much. I do the pelvic tilt, also lift my lower back up off the floor. When I am done, I lay on the floor with my legs on the couch and just lay there for about 10 minutes, taking deep breaths.
