Guest guest
Hi I am new in this group, I have a question. I live in Charlotte NC, I would like to know if my baby needs this band, does the health insurance pay for this? I have BCBC NC. Please if somebody has experience with the insurance procedures, let me know! Thanks!
Guest guest
-- I have a question for you. Did you have problem with BCBS paying on time? We are also FEP and they are requesting more information about repositioning. I am hoping they are not going to fight us on it. My son gets his band off tomorrow and they still haven't paid. Ah! Any comments would be helpful, Ronda In a message dated 1/20/2009 7:21:06 P.M. Central Standard Time, nwilkens2275@... writes: Welcome-It really depends on your specific plan. You will want to look up Durable Medical Equipment (that's what a band/helmet falls under) in your plan and see what the coverage is. I have BCBS of NC, but it's the Federal Employee Program which is different and we had really good coverage (90% in network and 75% out of network). I do believe regular BCBS of NC has coverage, but you might need to go to an in-network provider, you just have to check. We went to Cranial Tech in Charlotte and loved them (they were out of network for us though). Good luck!Jake-2 (DOCBand Grad 9/08)Jordan-5 >> Hi > I am new in this group, I have a question.
