LOL Holly... all preops are on pins and needles, so when something like this

comes, it seems like a bad thing. I can remember how I was almost afraid to

post anything before I was approved. I didn't want to say the wrong thing

and blow my chance. I think we are all on Dr. R.'s mailing list. I got it,

too. As a post op, I see it as an informative letter to let us know the

progress of the MGB. As a pre op, I would have taken it just like you did.

So, in the famous Dr. R.'s own words... Don't worry, be happy!!

Dr.R,

I just wanted you to know I appreciate the updates you give us

periodically. It helps to keep up with the latest even after post-op. You

never know what you will discover from day to day either. Thanks again,

Sincerely,

Margie

Dear Holly,

Yes, you are paranoid!! LOL Dr.R sends these updates to

all of us I think. I believe it is to let us know the latest statistics on

this Life Changing surgery that we have already had, or are thinking about

having. You don't need to worry about receiving it, even though he did see

your last post! LOL Just kidding! Relax!!! xoxoxo Margie SC 7/26 :0)

Hey Holly,

I got the exact same thing (except the name :o) ) After I read it I sort of

thought he was still trying to convince me to have the surgery when I'm

already a post op!!! I thought Gee I haven't even posted my weight loss yet,

does it already show it's not working!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess the jokes on me, it

must be a form letter.

Hey Holly,

I thought I was special when I received that same letter. LOL. I even looked

back at the heading line to see if it was CCed to anyone else and was happy

to see it was addressed only to me.

Now I know...
