I can remember how I was almost afraid to post anything before I was approved. I didn't want to say the wrong thing and blow my chance. I think we are all on Dr. R.'s mailing list. I got it, too. As a post op, I see it as an informative letter to let us know the progress of the MGB. As a pre op, I would have taken it just like you did. So, in the famous Dr. R.'s own words... It helps to keep up with the latest even after post-op. You never know what you will discover from day to day either. I believe it is to let us know the latest statistics on this Life Changing surgery that we have already had, or are thinking about having.
