Subject: sausage and hot dogs

Hi,

I was at Trader Joe's today and picked up some Applegate Farms beef and

turkey hot dogs. I just read a previous post that says only the turkey

ones are legal. The label for the beef hot dogs do not have any

illegal ingredients, except perhaps " organic spices " . Is this the

confusion that was referenced earlier - that they were once legal, then

illegal? Are they now legal again? Sorry to confuse anyone, I just

bought them and want to use them if I can.

Also, I found some chicken sausage that looks legal. The ingredients

are: skinless chicken, water, honey, sage, rosemary, ginger, red

pepper, and salt. The brand is Han's. It's called " Skinless chicken

breakfast links " . Does anyone know if this is legal?

Thanks,

Liz

Please see the bottom of page 71 in BTVC, edition ten about store and

web bought food.

Applegate has made several changes fom legal to illegal to legal in the

past year and one is never sure if they are caught up with the latest.

Marilyn Alm has great sausage recipes.
