Hello , I haven't written lately but do monitor all the correspondence. My wife Arlene has had RP dxd since 1990 when her trachea swelled at the vocal cords. Since then she has had ear involvement and a myriad of side effects from the prednisone. She is also on metho and enbrel. Over the last few years she has developed ever worsening ringing in her ears (even in the ear that has lost just about all its hearing ability) and a cough that boths her intermitently all day long. Her trachea swelling has stablized at less than its worst but still with a stenosis that her breathing. We wonder if any one has had these specific problems and if so if they have been successful in treating them in any way. The tinnitus is getting so bad it is really starting to affect her emotionally, even beyond what the RP does on its own. Any help would be appreciated. richard e.
