Guest guest
I am breastfeeding an almost 1 year old (will be 1 next week). She has leaky gut. Her candida numbers weren't high, but mine are so I know she has it b/c I'm bfing. She has developed allergies to sweet potatoes and coconut and something else I can't figure out, so I am looking to do the SCD with her when we start. My problem is she doesn't like texture. She hates anything with texture. I make her food and puree it to death, but if there is any hint of texture, she refuses it. She will only eat squash, peas (sometimes), carrots and breastmilk. She hates all fruit. My supply is running out and I really need to wean her but can't figure out what to wean her too. My other children are anaphylactic to cow and goat milk, so that's out. She allergic to coconut and rice and I don't want to do soy, but at this time, that is the only other liquid she will take. Since it's not SCDlegal, I need to get something else though. She is happy to take water from a bottle, so I don't worry about keeping her hydrated, but I worry about her calorie intake. She can't possible get enough right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fill her up and foods that puree well enough to pass the " no-texture " test? Wyndie
