sleep positioning tips for back sleeper

Aidan (7 mo) prefers sleeping on his back. We try to encourage him to sleep on his side, and he'll do this maybe 1 out of every 3 nights. Would putting memory foam under his sheet help him at all? We have decided to forgo a helmet; in my heart I just don't think it's what is right for my son. We do want to work on repositioning him as much as possible to prevent his plagio from getting any worse.

Any suggestions for a mobile baby?

Dina was also a mobile baby at 6mos old and nothing worked, so we decided to band so it would not get worse. sorry I don't have the answer you wanted to hear. The only way for it to get better is to band.Nina

I agree. My daughter sat at 5 months, crawled at 7 months, and walked at 9 months. was also a back sleeper. Her head seemed to only get worse with time. We regret that we didn't band earlier. She will probably never have full correction because we didn't get her banded until she was almost 15 months old. That being said, we are glad that we did eventually band. Her brachy has gone from moderate to mild so far.
