Guest guest
Green sometimes means bile-gall bladder. I'm not sure what to tell you, I know that if mine are green looking that I have had too much fat, and my gall bladder is acting up (extremely painful). So, Maybe it has to do with the enzymes? color of bowel movement Hi all, For the past week and half my son has been complaining about tummy aches. Some bowel movements are fine, others are not. Last night he had a formed, sinking one but the color was white with green and grays in it. He told me that it hurt his belly. Anyone else experience this color? & What was suggested? After last night, I will up his enzymes a bit to see if I can get him 'back to normal'. Any additional suggestions???? Guest guest
Deb, Sometimes when you pass a stool that is very hard you open up a " fissure " or tiny crack in the rectum. I would mention it to clinic because they can direct you to a stool softener so she won't bleed. With such a large stool, I'd have to ask how long since the one before it? when we were kids, My sis (no CF but MAJOR consipation problems) used to only go once or twice a week and they were HUGE. She now uses a stool softener like colace or peri-colace. It might help but ask first. Re: color of bowel movement My youngest has been having problems with her stools being really hard. Deb A Definitely call her CF doctor. My son has to take an Exlax every night per the CF doc. He did better on Senokot but for some reason they are having manufacturing problems and it is not available. jan
Guest guest
Ricky does really well on Miralax. I mix it in with his apple juice, and it doesn't even taste like anything... And works great! Becky Re: color of bowel movement > My youngest has been having problems with her stools being really hard. The > other day she stool I swear was bigger then her!! Guest guest
My guess is " yes " . I think that we were giving Abby too many enzymes too. We cut her dose in half and she is still only have one solid poop per day. Gale > My youngest has been having problems with her stools being really hard.
