Guest guest
Hi Rosemary, The sugar levels are not so bad IF you get them straight out of the field which is pretty easy for the area we(you & I) live in.The longer it is out of the ground the higher it is AND if it's from a grocery store FORGETABOUTIT. Guest guest
Don't know, but I'll bet you aren't ready to try a different source of spud just yet LOL.What are the listed ingredients,my daughter is allergic to wheat and dairy, her diet has been totally free of both since we found out, boy, was I surprised to see how many foods add MFS(modified food starch). In any event,I doubt it went straight from the ground to the vat:). Guest guest
Hi, This interested me because I haven't had any problems with potatoes. I usually eat 1-2 baked potatoes a week and haven't experienced any dumping. I do eat them plain, though, just a little salt (YUMMM!!) Anyway, just my input. Guest guest
Thanks Shelly, I was wondering why they were bothering me. Every time I try them no matter what, I feel bad. I don't always dump but still do not feel well. I can live without them! Thanks for the help! Rosemary potaoes- dump > Hi all, In reference to potatoes and dumping. Dumping has to do with sugar and potatoes are very high on the glycemic index. In other words they do contain sugar and will raise blood glucose levels in diabetics just as quickly as sweet things. Hope this helps. Shelly in Jax Fla > > >

Guest guest
Hi, Me too. I add a little margarine, skim milk and salt to white potatoes and have " mashed potatoes " . I've been able to eat sweet potatoes with margarine, too. Yum.
