Too funny !! Well, I just had to tell this one. A friend of mine here in

Raleigh had the MGB on July 10th. She found out about the surgery through me

and does not have a computer. At her " 1 " month weigh in she had lost a

whopping 49 pounds. That's right.....49 big ones.....she started out at 339

pounds. She vowed not to weigh for another month but sprained her ankle and

went to the urgent care and they weighed her. Five days later on Aug.15th she

had lost another 8 pounds!!!

I told her this had to be an ALL time record!!! She is sticking to phase I,

mostly all liquids. This is the one and only time I feel like the lack of a

computer has helped her becasue she really believes everyone sticks to the 2

month deal!!! She says she has hardly wanted any food though! Please don't

let this deter anyone because many others will not lose this amount even if

they ate nothing. I just had to share with you guys. It's amazing to me!! I

tell her she musta been really full of sh**! LOL
