Guest guest
Yall are such a great resource... First off, just how big a deal is it to eat organic meats, veggies, fruit, eggs, etc...just finished GUT AND PSYCHOLOGY SYNDROME by -McBride and she certainly wants us to eat organic... We are shopping at a store called Sprouts here in Dallas and avoiding Whole Foods due to price... I love the new website suggested for organic beef, eggs, poultry, etc... http://www.eatwild.com/ I think i can find a steady supply of organic meats and eggs from someone that is on the eatwild list of farmers, BUT... That still leaves veggies and fruits... I know about local co-ops but they are a tad expensive too and you dont get to choose what you get each week, and Whole Foods is so expensive... Where to go for organic veggies/fruits??? Thanks! Randy the Rainman

It was pointed out to me that organic does not always mean freshly picked. Here in Toronto a lot of organic produce comes from Mexico, Chile and California. It is picked a week ahead and not " vine " ripened and sits on a transport truck. My friends and I are also distressed that soaring gasoline prices have driven the cost of things from Whole Foods sky high. We have decided to support our local organic farmers right through the harvest season as well as specialty cheese shops and organic butchers instead. But Randy the Rainman you have created almost daily heavy thunderstorms up here. Please stop! LOL Carol F. Celiac, SCD 6 years
