Guest guest
, I went to my PCP today, gave him the info and he is going to look over this week. He didn't sound very encouraging about the insurance though since I have BC/BS preferred. He said he didn't think they would approve a doctor in NC. Oh well, he did say he would look over the material and I am to get back with him in a week. Becky

Kristi was our first " test case " of " normal processing " after getting some arrangements worked out with BC/BS Alabama on the previous cases, and hers went through fine, so if you give them everything they ask for, you should be okay! > > I came to Tuscaloosa last weekend, but forgot to get your phone number. Guest guest
Hey Becky, I use a wonderful lady Dr. of Internal Medicine in Gulf Breeze. She has a new practice and is easy to get in to see. She actually worked with people who did the open proceedure in the past, and is really excited about Dr. R's work. Her name is Dr. Lanenger and she does not mind writing the letters of support that Dr. R requires. If you find that you need a more supporting Dr. you might want to try her. She is truely wonderful and has helped me in every way possible. Stormy > , > > I went to my PCP today, gave him the info and he is going to look over this > week. Guest guest
I'm in Monroeville, about 85 miles from Mobile and the same from Pensacola. Yes, here office is across from the old K-Mart in Gulf Breeze, FL. It is Sacred Heart Medical Group of Tiger Point. She is a young, beautiful doctor who spent TWO hours talking with me on my first visit. I was impressed. Stormy > Thanks Stormy. That's Gulf Breeze, FL? Guest guest
My surgery was on August 11th, and I hav'nt gotten the statement saying that they paid yet, but according to my medical book I won't owe anything. I did have their PMD plan, but when our policy was switched to PPO, they allow me to go anywhere to get treatment. You might want to look up Alabama insurance on www.obesityhelp.com. There are lots of Blue Cross plans that have paid and you may be able to learn more. Stormy > They did? Even though the doc is out of the preferred list?
