Guest guest
Gloria, I have prudential..and so does Memory from B.A., Ok. and Bernie from TX. Mine was a little difficult but only because my wonderful PCP referred me for weight loss surgery but not directly to Dr. Rutledge...Now things are straightened out.My surgery date is Sept. 20! I suggest you let Dr. R write his wonder~letter to your insurance and have your PCP write a letter of referral, too. This would have saved me a lot of time and stress. Good luck! Tami Oologah, Ok. Prudential ???? Has anyone out there been approved who has Prudential HealthCare HMO? If so how difficult were they in approval? Guest guest
Just being prepared in case I do not lose the extra lbs and get the surgery before Oct.1. I think we got BCBS's the problem solved about Dr. Rutledge doing physicals....Barbara said she would be sending them info that says that he has seen us (clinic) and we are approved for surgery. The reason I was asking about Prudential is because NC is dropping BCBS PCP for state employees and I have to choose between, the regular BCBS plan (non HMO), Prudential and Wellpath. My current doctors are on Prudential and so is Dr. R, so this is probably who I will choose. Gloria
Guest guest
Gloria, I had Prudential POS in North Texas and was approved at 100% in-network coverage. Good Luck. Guest guest
Hey, Bernie! I am still fighting Prudential POS for 100% coverage! This will be my third appeal and each time there was a different reason. Today's reason is that they won't approve outside the state of Oklahoma or Texas! They offered Out of Network service but that is still $4,000 out of my pocket! They also offered in network for an open RNY here in Tulsa...at the minimum cost of $38,000.! This seems so illogical to me...Dr. R is such a bargain...Who makes these decisions anyway!? Do you have any advice for me? Thanks! Tami Re: Prudential ????
