I would leave it off a few hours to make sure it is really dry. Put it

in front of a fan and make sure it is dry. You don't want the babies

head to get damp and yucky. I haven't experienced this though. some

people do wash bands with soap and water (I know CT doesn't recommend

this). I'm not sure how wet they get the band, but the fact that you

said it feels heavier worries me.
