allergies and CF--is it worse?

My son has come down with allergies, we think to Ragweed which is

really bad here in Kansas right now. He has a runny nose, watery

eyes and sneezes. His nose is pretty clear at night but he keeps

swallowing nasal fluid I think. He coughs a lot with all that stuff

running down his throat. Does CF make an allergy reaction worse? We

tried Rondec and Benadryl but nothing dried him up enough to let us

all sleep. We started him on Flonase last night too--one puff per

nostril. I am going to see the pediatrician in a few hours but

thought I would seek the input of all those more experienced moms out

there. I have heard that Zyrtec works. He is only 29 months so we

can't do some medications.
