Decorating Worries!

Hello! I am new to the group, my 8 month old son got his doc band on

Tuesday and so far is doing great with it. I tried to decorate it

today with stickers and put clear nail polish over it to seal them.

However, it smelled so bad and would not go away I ended up taking them

off and using nail polish remover to get them off. Although I washed

the outside several times I feel like I can still smell it when put my

nose up to the band. I am worried about having him sleep in it

tonight. My husband does not smell it at all. Am I just being

paranoid? Has anyone else had trouble with fumes?

I did the same thing you did and had no issues with the smell after an hour of drying the helmet. I used a no chip top coat polish. You might have a very sensitive nose if your husband did not notice it.Nina
