Guest guest
Hello friends - Luke is 3 years old has been on GF/CF for about a year. Anyways, after diminishing returns I'm looking into SCD. Here is my dilema: We replaced Luke's favorite drink, milk with soy and rice milk when we went GFCF. He never took to juice in any way; it's either rice milk or water for him. Shortly after starting GFCF we started standard biomedical treatments; he is getting a variety of common supplements during the morning and evening and during meals; all washed down in rice milk. Getting started on SCD I purchased some 'Almond Milk' as a replacement. He'll take it fine enough, even cut with water. Taking a closer look at the ingredient list, the variety I have access lists cane syrup as the third ingredient. Given that, I had a couple of questions I figure the gurus can help me with. 1) Though I cannot find cane syrup listed explicitly anywhere as a prohibited food, I'm guessing it violates the SCD. True or false? 2) What other solutions have people come up with to pile down the various supplements their children are on without masking it in one of the various 'milk' products? I'm willing to start the juice wars if need be, but maybe there is a SCD compliant drink out there. (?) Thanks in advance! brian __________________________________________________
