Guest guest
A patient of the clinic I work in came in today. She is a friend of a cf parent who is also a patient. We were talking Cf as we always do. She mentioned that****** went to see a physic the other day/week. I raised my eyebrows at this, can you tell I am a sceptic? Anyway she said that the physic told her that her cf daughter (who is only two), knows she is dying, she knows she is different and treated differently and knows she wont live long. I felt like laughing at the stupidity of it. How can a 2 year old know all that. I felt sorry for the little girl actually, if her mother even believes 1/4 of this. I said that Eilish isn't dying, which she gave a funny look. Obviously she's been with her friend who must be doom and gloom. I said Eilish is living every day to the full. She will be dying when she draws her last breathe. I know the mother probably went there looking for hope, I to at the beginning was interested in those healing services, but never went, I don't truly believe it. Does anyone have any advice for some way to bring it up next time she visit's the surgery. I really want to encourage her. I've told her friend to ask her to come along to the mother's retreat.
