Guest guest
I am very sorry you are having such a really bad time. I do home your morning will come & you will :be all better " .that's what my mom used to say to me with a gentle kiss on the forehead. Soooooooo, here's a wee kiss, gently going on your forehead. so nitey nite. sleep tight , don't let the bedbugs bite------etc..............ANYWAY, love ya , & sure do hope your feeling super in am. LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEv the nutty ole lady in Florida:) Feeling awful Well, I am off to bed--I tried a few times to take a nap today, but got interrupted by the doorbell, the phone, two dogs needing to go out and go potty, another phone call, parakeets squawking, and two cats in a fight down in the basement which caused a crash and a need to go down and make sure they were alive! I am running a low-grade fever, can barely swallow, feel congested, and have a very tight chest and dry, hacking cough. Thanks to my daughter a--she brought home the first cold of the school season!! And of course this is a night my hubby is working out of town, too! I took some Nyquil, which should be kicking in soon, so off I go. I didn't hook Cody up to his IV or feeding machine tonight, cuz I just know that the Nyquil will kick my butt and I would have a heck of a time hearing the machines! Night, all! Guest guest
Thanks, Bev--I still feel pretty awful! But the Nyquil helped me sleep at least--although I did wake up a couple times with some really weird dreams!! :-) But--I also must have turned off the alarm or something, cuz I remember setting it, but we ended up oversleeping by about 45 minutes! Oh well... Guest guest
, I sure hope that you feel better after a good nights sleep. That is if you were able to get one. HOPE SO I know that Nyquil is pretty rough on me too. Only it clears me up and makes me sleep very fitfully. I have all kinds of crazy dreams when I take it and wake about every 20 min or so. CRAZY. It really does help my cold though so I suffer through it. Hope you feel better Ashauna
Guest guest
And here I was thinking I was the only one that Nyquil gave hallucinations too. The rest of my family thinks I'm weird. :-) I've started using the alka-seltzer liqui-gels for night time and they seem to work better with out the weird dreams. Guest guest
Most cold meds make me have the weird dreams too! Often I get the one where you really think you are awake but you aren't and then you can't wake yourself up even though you realize you are dreaming. When you finally wake up it feels like you never slept at all.........Nyquil is one of the worst offenders! (pain meds also so it to me...) Guest guest
That was funny to read! LOL I woke up so many times last night (although, after your explanation, , maybe I didn't really wake up at all.....LOL). Nyquil also gives me horrible night sweats and shakiness--like a major panic attack! BUT, it does help me at least feel less congested and get some sleep at the beginning of the night. The night before we'd cut up a watermelon, and I'd eaten WAAAAYYY too much of it, and had to pee every 1/2 hour all night! LOL But it was sooooooo good--it was worth it!!
