Good news/bad news

Turns out I do indeed have ulcerative colitis. BUT...it's mild and my

doctor is confident we can manage it. Both of my uncles have it and have

managed it fine. My mother exacerbated hers with severe obesity and

smoking. Since I'm not as overweight (I'm workin' on it! I'm workin on

it!), and don't smoke, and rarely drink alcohol, I have a good chance of

doing well with it. Let's hope this is one the family cfer didn't inherit!
